Eggdancer Productions is an independent Film and Television Production Company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia established in 2006. We are committed to creating world-class multimedia productions that are innovative, authentic and produced with conviction.
Dania Nassief and Danya Alhamrani–two dynamic, professional Saudi women, head the company. Eggdancer Productions was born through the vision and passion of these women. Through their various careers and experiences, each has brought a different quality and expertise to the company. Collectively they have spent over 10 years in the media industry, and gained experience in the different areas of television, documentary and corporate production.
Through their passion and energy Eggdancer Productions aims to contribute significantly to the Saudi Film and Television industry.
In addition to providing excellent products and services, the intention of the company’s founders is to work with a creative team of dedicated professionals whose skills can be shared with other aspiring filmmakers and producers. We accomplish this by providing internship opportunities and training young people interested in filmmaking to help them develop their talent and interest into marketable skills.
Danya Alhamrani
Director
Co-Founder of Eggdancer Productions, an independent film production company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In 2006 she and her business partner, Dania Nassief, became the first women in Saudi Arabia to own and manage a production company.
For over a decade, she has worked on projects ranging from documentaries to cooking shows. She has produced content for international regional broadcast.
Her most recent project, A Silent Revolution, is a feature-length documentary that highlights the stories of pioneering Saudi women. The film chronicles the changing social landscape of Saudi Arabia through
stories of the Kingdom’s most influential women of the past 50 years.
Dania Nassief
Producer
Co-founder and managing partner of Eggdancer Productions. She has worked on a variety of projects, f rom cooking and culture to social affairs, Dania seeks to enlighten as well as entertain. She is considered a pioneer in her f ield as the f irst woman to manage a production company in Saudi Arabia.
Her primary focus is to bring about social change, which she feels she can achieve through her chosen profession.
